Richard,

I know I am digging up an old and unresolved post. However, it seems I
have the exact same issue. I was able to import and export in a OmniOS
LiveUSB stick. However, rebooting into Gentoo yielded the exact same
corruption message.

All seems fine in OmniOS other than the standard message there are features
not supported by the pool due to it being an older version. Volumes mount
and the data is accessible, etc.

Any and all pointers is greatly appreciated!

Download an OmniOS LiveCD, boot it into a shell and do an import/export
there. It will likely fix this.
ZFSOnLinux HEAD might also be able to do that, but OmniOS has additional
fixes that have not yet been merged.

Are you sure you are experiencing the same issue?

I'd like to see a "zpool status" from OmniOS, using the imported pool, plus
a "zpool import" from Linux and finally a "zpool import -d /dev/disk/by-id"
again from Linux. By omitting the pool name at "zpool import" ZFS will look
for importable pools and report back about them.

It does very much seem like the exact same issue:
