This topic of technical relevance only: I failed to configure the list
managing software for sending a daily digest (as google used to). So for
now i feel flooded with list related stuff. Any chance to keep reading
the daily digest only?

To set your account to digest mode:

Go here -> http://list.zfsonlinux.org/mailman/listinfo/zfs-discuss

enter your email address at the bottom - check which email address the
list is sending to you as, because it seems your subscription email is
different from ***@gmail.com which you used to send this question.

There you'll see all the options for your subscription.
